Doesn’t clean effectively
The cleaner leaves soap suds at the end of the cycle. Had to run the dishwasher 2-3 times to remove all the foam. Also, this was the case even when cleaner used was decreased to half of the recommended level.

Not good for machines
I really like Strategi and use most of their products, but this is one that really didn’t work. I have a Bosch dishwasher, and the dishes just didn’t come clean. Even the bowls that had rasam in them were still not cleaned, and rasam is basically just spices and water, so it isn’t like it is a hard thing to come off. The detergent is foaming too much in the dishwasher. The first time we used it, my husband filled up the little soap bin full. I had suds streaming out all over the place. So, we used 2 caps full. The dishes were not coming clean, and suds were still coming out of the dishwasher, even though a lot less. So this is not good for using in dishwashing machines. I will just use it for handwashing the dishes instead.

Must Try, no Chemicals and cleans good
If you are looking for non chemical mix dishwasher friendly detergent substitute. Try this. I am using this for over a year now.Quality is good, and does what it says.Shine is less when compared to other chemical mixed detergent powders, but you won’t regret that for the safe natural ingredients.Generates more froth than chocal powder, so cleans hars oil stains well.

Not very effective
It has turned out to be not very defective. Many water stains and occasional food spots can be observed on the washed utensils (despite scrubbing the utensils well before putting them in the dishwasher).This is possibly due to the absence of the enzymes present in the conventional dishwasher detergents, such as Fortune, Finish or IFB.I put a pinch of Fortune detergent along with a table spoon full of Herbal Strategi detergent last night. It worked but the objective of not using any chemical detergent was lost.If some chemical detergent has to be added in any case, might as well use the same only rather than mix the much costlier ‘herbal’ detergent.And the Herbal Strategi detergent leaves much more foam at the bottom on the machine (due to the soapnuts used in it?) which takes very long to disappear.
