I got this little press as a last-minute gift from my husband for Christmas. It was one of those little things that I put out there in case he is looking for an add-on gift or just to have another present under the tree for me to open. What this has turned out to be, already a couple of times just since Christmas, is a great way to make the most of my bargain ground meat finds. Once I found some ground beef on sale, I bought it, took it right home, and made several packs of the perfect hamburger patty. I love this because it is so easy to use, cleans up so well and quickly, and, in my opinion, makes the perfect-sized, deep hamburger patty for grilling, frying, or even microwaving. If you ever wanted this perfect addition to your meal planning and storage, order this great item. Low price, stainless steel, and it works much better than others I have seen and owned at a fraction of the price.

This is a neat device that is extremely easy to use and clean. I suggest using the parchment paper cutouts that come with it and purchase additional ones if you use it a lot. This 5.5 inch size makes some large diameter burgers with limited stickiness. If you make the burgers ahead of time and freeze them for future cooking or cooking right away, it works good. I would advise not making monster thick burgers only because they don’t always cook evenly. I make 1/3 lb burgers that are 5.5 inch’s in diameter which cook perfectly.
