AO Smith Water Purifier Review
I’ve been using the AO Smith water purifier for a few weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed. The water taste is remarkably good, making it a pleasure to drink. The flow rate is also excellent, providing quick access to clean water without any hassle. Installation was straightforward, and the design fits well in my kitchen. It’s clear that AO Smith has put a lot of thought into both functionality and user experience. Never buy – Technician confirms that they second quality or old stock product through online
AOSmith is a big SCAM!!!!The problem of this water purifier starts from the beginning. For installation, it took a lot of days to schedule and from that day itself they were criticising buying it from online. And first complaint arises in just one month of use – the purifier started having heating issues. When directly called the service center, they said even though the product is under warranty, since we bought it through online, not a shop, we have to send a mail or call the customer care to register the complaint. 3 days after sending out mail, a person came, they replaced some part and went. From next day the heating started again – another email – another few days for technician to come and inspect – replaces a part – again next day same issue started. Then when contacted service center, they were reiterating that this issue is because AO Smith is sending second quality or old stock product through online (there was no much discount in the original price though when I bought it), that’s why purifier is having this issue and they have seen similar cases with online bought products and never seen this issue on store bought ones. This time the service center told that service technician will come in two days. Waited for one week, there was no response, they stopped taking calls. Then I sent a mail asking the same, also I asked AOSmith to confirm whether they are sending second quality products through online and I didn’t get any reply. But the technician came after this mail and there was no right part for replacement this time. Then another 3 days of wait to fix the heating issue. Still no reply from AOSmith about they cheating customers who buy their products online. This whole took 3 weeks to fix this issue.Things were going smoothly for just another month, then suddenly there was no water coming through it. The tap seems to be not working. Another 2 week of wait, mails to get it done.This product was used hardly one month in 3 months of purchase, for rest of the time it was complaint.I bought this as a gift to my parents and now they are afraid to use it because they think it’s gonna create another issue. The reason why they cannot call customer care is because there is only Hindi and English option in their system, which my parents don’t know. So each time I have to send a mail. I have a huge mail chain for all the complaints. Only after multiple emails, they even respond.Do not buy AOSmith product even offline or online. Their service is terrible, even if they are gonna be selling “first quality products” offline.My husband was thinking about gifting his parents about the same purifier. Now we are never gonna trust this brand. They are very deceiving and also with little to no integrity. Do not trust their products, this or anything else. I got scammed, do not let them be scammed.

Best in its price range
Been using it for over a month now. Bought it after pondering over which purifier to buy for so many days… I made the correct decision.. AO Smith is the only company offering the latest purifying technology (SCMT) while other competitors are still selling decade old technology for even higher prices…We have been using water purifiers for more than 20 years now so I can definitely tell you it’s the best.. Purification, Taste , Experience all Good.Installation process was easy and swiftly done by the service person. Also detailed explanation by the technician was impressive.Will update again after 1 year with more

So far so good
Got the AO smith Z5 and installed on the 1st of Dec, 2023. It was good but started leaking in 11 days. Had a few issues trying to get in touch with A0 smith India (product service centre) l, tried all the 1800 numbers and no one picked up. Tried sending an Email to Amazon and AO smith and got a response after another day that they have dispatched a technician. It was just a simple float wore issue that wasn’t trimmed enough and IT WAS FIXED AND WIRKING WELL NOW. The purifier does look good and works well just a little stressful to get a response on the phone. So far its a good water purifier.

A great water filter!
I liked it so much I ordered a second one, this time to install in my office. I ordered the filter, it came on schedule and without having to do anything, the installer called the next day and came right away to put it in. He had all his own tools and worked quickly to put it in, and it’s been working great ever since. Thevonly disadvantage is you can’t put a bottle right up next to the nozzle due to the shape of the machine–the bottle has to be held lower, causing some splatter.
