Review on Faber XUV 8000 water purifier.
I purchased this Faber XUV 8000 water purifier through Amazon. The delivery & installation was hassle free. They installed an extra filter ( with cost of Rs.750.00) on request. It is working properly and water quality is also improved. Thanks to Amazon to make it available on their platform. Also special thanks to Faber for this product.

The product description mentions sediment filter but no such filter was received. During installation an additional water pump was required as the input water pressure was low, fair enough, but the technician charged additional 3.1k for it! The cost of purifier was about 6k. An almost 50% additional cost of purifier just for water pump, not justified at all. I reached out to service centre during installation, they first agreed this isn’t right and will callback in few mins but I didn’t got any call back and they stopped answering my calls. I ended up paying 2500 to the technician after negotiation, which again is still high.I reached out service centre separately for missing sediment filter but they didn’t have any adequate answers and later just completely stopped replying to my queries while being on call.And surprisingly the output tds about 97 is higher than the input tds which is about 80Please don’t purchase this purifier, Faber’s service is very bad and idk how worse it will be for annual maintenance.

It’s a good product had a smooth installation here in Gurugram Palam Vihar. But if you need a TDS controller this product is not suitable. Rest all a great product.
