Fixed all the problems!
Automatic defrost wasn’t working, causing excessive frost buildup on the evaporator coils, which was preventing the evaporator fan from running efficiently enough to cool the fridge and the freezer food was thawing out. Replaced the bi-metal defrost thermostat but it didn’t fix the problem. Thank the lord this control board did! 18 year old Kenmore side by side is back in business! This part looked a tad bit different but it worked like a charm. Pic is of the old control board for reference.

Worked perfectly!
Installation was easy however I burnt my arm on that bulb so I would recommend removing the bulb before you start the work! Also unplug the refrigerator before removing the circuit board box. Opening the little white circuit board box is a piece of cake also.

The board was the fix for the evaporator fan cycling issues.
The evaporator fan, (The one in the freezer) kept cycling on and off every few seconds. This was the fix for it. It works like it should now. Make sure this is the correct board for your model. The freezer was iced up. So this will probably fix that. There are several other things that can make the freezer ice up. I checked those and they were fine. (heater wire, high temp cutout) It looks like the black capacitor on the left is bulged, in the picture of my old board. Probably bad, but a replacement board was a quick fix. The board is located on the top left of the inside of the refrigerator. Videos of how to access are on the net. This seems to be a common part to go bad.Great price!!

Fixed my freezer defrost cycle
I was having a problem with the fan whiring up and down repeatedly in the freezer trying to do the defrost cycle. I thought a compressor was ready to die. ice build up in there behind the cover in the back of the freezer. once the ice built up enough, it wouldn’t keep things cold right in the freezer.it all turned out to be this guy. pretty easy to get to this circuit board and replace in the top of the fridge area. And cheap. saved me a lot.

Fridge wouldn’t cool over under 55F and freezer was icing over. This fixed my problem, easy to install myself
