Good product at a budget price
I had to switch from a Samsung front load 5kg to this machine as the Samsung one gave up due to its age(12yrs) & regular shifting of residence(5).My observations:PROS:1.Wash quality is good 2. i just put the clothes & detergent powder inside.the machine does the rest for water intake,wash program selection & time. 3.low sound levels. 4.lint filter is effective. 5.separate intake for softener & separate intake for descaling powder. 6.tub size is big. 7.cost of machine saved me 10-12k as compared a front load. 7.EB required is lower as motor is 230 watts but sufficient for 6.5 kgs load. 8.front load was a pain ,as family size increased, with respect to loading,capacity,machine used to dance like a pro,countless repairs.CONS:1,water required is much higher. 2. i bought water intake filter(400) ,extended outlet drain pipe(400) and washing machine cover(1000) from LG service person for 1850.no need of stand as drainage pipe is 1mtr+3mter long now. 3.build quality is just ok. 4,rat mesh is flimsy 5.lint filter is placed high up. 6.can wash max 17 clothes(shirts/trousers adult 5 kids 5 socks 4 others 2) in one go. 6.no heater 7.need to scrub collars seperately in case of heavy load.

LG 7 kg washing machine
It’s simple with minimal features which are most commonly used options. Automatic washing program time selection is a good feature. Noise is nearly zero. As of now (two weeks old) it’s working well.

No auto restart on power fluctuations, so not fully automatic
Earlier I have used Samsung and Haier washing machines and both of them were fully automatic in similar or less budget. I need not go and resume the washing machine in case of power fluctuations, they had auto restart feature. This feature is missing in LG. I am disappointed because I took this feature for granted given my earlier experiences of fully automatic washing machines. I needed this feature because I usually forget in case power fluctuations occurred.

affordable price, Washing quality, low power consumption
I purchased this washing machine because of my limited budget and keeping in view of its affordable prices, brand name, quality, services etc. Although the machine is good, I returned it on the next day as I am not happy with the drum rotation speed during Washing mode. It rotates so slowly just like a baby in the credle. How can we expect the cloths will be cleaned with such a slow speed of drum rotation? Earlier, I used Samsung top load machine, in which the drum speed is sufficient enought to wash the clothes. This is because in the LG motor is direct drive (invertor) and Samsung is belt drive (non Invertor and old model). Since, now most of the top load machines are upgraded to direct and inverter model, same problem may be there in all brands, I think. Hence, the makers should change the program code to increase the drum rotation speed durig washing mode. Keeping in view of this problem, now I placed order for Samsung Front load machine with (Belt drive and Digital inverter) model. Although, reviewers say that belt need to be replaced after few years, I think it is not a big issue as it may cost hardly Rs2-300 only. However, I naver faced problem with the belt during last 12 years in my Samsung top load machine. So, my suggestion to all buyers is try to see the washing mode speed in the top load inverter model machines in your near and dear homes before purchasing the top load machines. Otherwise, you may regret like me for buying it. Now, I have to see how the front load washing machine will perform. Since, it was widely used, I hope no issues with it.
