A Very Superior Hose… Update: Going strong after three years
It’s long. It’s very long. But hey, they sell in shorter lengths, and measuring before buying is recommended! And I’m not cutting it until experience has shown how much I don’t need.Seriously…It is soft! It is very nice to handle. It is light! Really, I can’t believe how light it is!It has been through the Chennai flood with us, with heavyweight house-cleaning duty. It is not quite as bright blue as it was, but it is still blue.It bothers me when I see our maid dragging it over concrete, but it doesn’t seem to mind much,Most days it is coiled on a wall hanger, out of direct sunlight, but UV gets everywhere. It is still soft, light, easy to handle, and has not stiffened up. Those twisty kinks still spring straight out when the twist is removed. No need for cursing and bending.We hang it on this: Sharpexwall Mount Hose HangerI’m using Hozelock (genuine: there really is nothing like the originals) fittings, and they fit really well as the hose gripper gets a great grip on the soft rubber.If you get a twist in it it kinks. Take out the twist, and the kink disappears. This is is unlike the PVC hoses I am used to where a kink is something to be fought with.Found it hard to believe the sales blurb for this rather expensive hose, but took the chance. The sales blurb is understated! I’m not going to be the one, come summer, out there every day doing the watering, but if you are, I promise you that the lightness and ease of handling this hose is going to save you work, save you energy, save you stress, and make your job *noticeably* easier.It is a completely different product to stiff old PVC. The only thing that remains to be seen is how many years of tropical sunshine it stands up to.Are you getting the message that I like this hose? Oh… It’s blue… I like that too.Update 2018: After nearly three years, stored outside, this hose is still flexible and shows no sign of damage or cracking.Update 2019: Four years now. The hose colour has faded, it is showing some wear where it has been dragged on concrete (hey, we all would), but it is still going strong.

Great and powerful lightweight hose!!!
If you want something that will last for a long time to come then go for these hose from Zephyr. It’s made of extremely rugged material yet comparatively lightweight. You can just tell how well it is made as soon as you open the box. The rubber material is Resistant to abrasion and kinks. Also you can leave it outside as it comes with UV protection (Anyway I keep it in store room.). So easy to carry to the place you need it and this works well for a terrace garden that has many planters and trees in tubs.Love the variety of settings. So far the best garden hose I have owned and if it holds up as well as it has I will buy another one for my parents, because I am so tired of kinks in the garden hoses and the heaviness of the standard garden hose.No leaks, and the fittings are of good quality. I always turn off the faucet and spray the water out of the hose before coiling it up, to relieve pressure on the fabric and make it easy to hang. And I keep it out of direct sunlight as much as possibleI strongly recommend this product for anyone who does lots of yard work or makes an effort to maintain their garden or crops. I’m also so impressed by the small size of the hose when it’s not in use.

Too much price and too cumbersome
Bought 2/3 inch size hose pipe. Although it is sturdy and of good quality, it has too much of coil memory. This makes it too cumbersome to roll back to put back to stand.

Costly and customized couplings
Real use of the pipe is when using pressure machines to wash cars. Since sunlight cannot enter, no algae is formed.Which means ur machine is not clog everytime u start using. It is not tangle proof. It still will block the water supply but lesser by some extent.But even in that use case, u ll need couplings. 3/4 inches couplings are not available widely. And those provided by this company breaks ofter. From a month to 3 months.Do you want to shell out 500 bucks every other month just to use a hose pipe?

I have beautiful garden set in front and backyard and beautiful garden requires strong,lengthy and long lasting hose. So to water them I needed a good hose and spray gun that will efficiently provide water fully and that’s when I saw Zephyr water spray gun. I checked and found Zephy has a series of other garden products and so I thought I would give it a try. I bought Zephyr water spray gun and connectors too.These are my initial impressions:1. The tube is of high density rubber2. Built quality seems really good, but can tell only on a long term basis3. Feels and provides a solid feel and look4. The seller(RMX Rubber) was fast on delivery5. Price: It seems fair for such a good product.6. 10 year replacement warranty7. Feels like its kink free/bend free8. It weighs light but doesnt mean it is not durable, will provide an update after long term use9. Color is radiantCons:There could be compatible issues with connectors and all so make sure you get the Zephyr Quick Connects Complete 4-piece Kit (Silver) to avoid time issues in connecting with tap.I will update regarding functioning and any issues in the upcoming updatesIf you found my review resourceful please click helpful.
