Sleek Number Lock for Refrigerator – Procedure to change number code in description
This is a next day review; I may update it after I find any other pros/cons or after some weeks of usage.I am using it on a glass surface refrigerator and it holds without any issues. Use the provided surface cleaner to wipe any oil/grime before applying adhesive sticker.PROS:It delivers what it promises; built is sleek and sturdy. Locking wire is a metal wire, so seems strong, more on this later if any changes.Glue is strong with a little bit of elasticity to withhold accidental pull on the refrigerator door once it is locked.Compact.Product includes screws in case surface is not adhesive friendly.CONS:No leaflet for setting up the lock or changing number code. This is really frustrating since many customers may not be able to give time to understand the procedure and may return the product.No tool provided to hold the lock while changing number code. They are relying on customer to have such tools. You can use a small screwdriver or an equally sturdy object to apply force on the slot which needs to be pressed while changing the number code. Refer image – slot marked is yellow/blue circle.There is no marking of the position where the number should be aligned. I had to guess that the notches in between the numbers is where they have to be set. See image – yellow arrow.Overall, this is a nice product and should suffice to keep drawers, refer doors and closets locked from curious kids.Do remember that this is not an anti-theft device ’cause I am sure it will part away (or at least damage the door) on giving a good motivated jerk/pull. I am using it to lock my refrigerator door with all sugary items inside since my aged mother can’t control sugar craving. I have uploaded photographs of how to change the number code.Slot marked in yellow/blue circle is where you have to insert a screw driver, then press it and you will feel a spring like tension. Change the number code and release it. Press the open button once. Now the number code is changed. If there is no change, then check if you are aligning the numbers exactly to the notches marked by yellow arrow.Do note that the initial number code is ‘0000’.Thanks.Happy2Help

strong and reliable
This was an excellent choice. My 2.5 year old one was opening the refrigerator several times. I saw the reviews for this product, ordered it and am now at ease.This is just the right choice.Stuck properly and still working. Bought it on 27th May 2022 and today is 17th July 2022-working perfectly fine. Thank you Sthira for suh a wonderful product and thank you Amazon.
