A decent kit with horrible packaging.
A decent soldering kit with required tools. I have used it twice for soldering only wires and it was decent. Still have not used it to solder circuit board but should not be a problem since there is one more pointy soldering tip for that purpose.Rod heats up quickly and does its function. Stand is also very durable. All the items are local made.Now coming to cons -1) Horrible packaging. At least they could have put the items in a cardboard box or something. What if items get damaged during shipping?2) The length of soldering lead wire was very less but okay for casual use.3) Wire cutter not up to mark but does its job.Overall an okay buy. If you are looking for using it once in a while then this kit would be enough. However if you are a regular user then better go with some branded items.

Good DIY help kit for Soldering
As DIY fan and an amateur Mr. Fixer, I would say this is a very good buy. The quality of the soldering pen is very good. The material used is like a mix of rubber and plastic and certainly feels that it very durable. The pointed pin is very helpful for working with PCBs. The multi-meter is a generic brand but good quality. The best part of this pack is that it comes with a small quantity of flux which is very hard to find in any local hardware stores in Pune.

Misleading Details
Product Description & Items Delivered:Purchased the Combo offering as it had the soldering kit which can be used for most of the household items and circuits. The Image shows what came across in the pack, while the description states that there is an additional pointed solder fitment also included. When I first received the package, I was surprised to find the additional fitment missing and so returned the package. A new package was delivered the next day, which again had the same accessory missing. That is what prompted me to understand that the additional solder point is probably not included in the COMBO style. It is mentioned in the description which misleads customers.Build & Make:The soldering iron is of average quality. The outer casing does not look quite sturdy either.The additional Soldering Point is missing from the packThe tweezers have a poor finish; 2 pieces of steel welded together with rough edges, and not as depicted in the image. The one in the image is probably a static coated one.Iron holder is not of chrome finish as mentioned, but is powder coated instead. The holder does not fit onto the stand base. Had to use pliers to extend the loop to make it fit along with the screwGlue Gun and glue stick look to be of good quality and finish; haven’t used them yet thoughThe soldering wire provided is with Flux, which is good. The de-soldering wick is fine to have but is hardly 30cm (more like namesake).The wire stripper and De-soldering pump are quite fine and look sturdy. Multi-meter is of average quality. You cannot use it for heavy circuits or measurements. Restrict usage to domestic requirementsApplication and Use:Apart from this, the combo is just fine for someone who does not want to do any professional or commercial level soldering jobs or projects. The make and build of the items included is of basic quality and not very sturdy. You can buy it as it gives you an option to have most of the items which you would require when you do any soldering work at home occasionally. So this should be a good buy from that perspective. If you are one who intends to work with soldering for more like commercial or professional purposes, then, please buy the items individually post check and verification.
